The Castle Peak Factory of the Universal Textile Co., Ltd. is to be built on Castle Peak Road near the 64-Milestone on an area of 13,300 square feet, the whole of which will be occupied by the new building.

The site was purchased some time ago at a Govern- ment auction.
Tenders for the site formation work required, including the access road, will be called for shortly.

A flatted factory, eight storey in height, each floor containing 4,000 sq.ft. making a total of 32,000 square feet of space which can be rented for industrial purposes.
Office accommodation will be pro- vided on each floor as required by the tenants. Passenger and goods lifts of ample capacity to efficiently service the building are being provid- ed, connected to a loading bay on the ground floor which will keep the lor- ries from obstructing the streets.
Working drawings are now being prepared, and work is expected to start shortly.
The factory is located on N.K.I.L. 3547, Castle Peak Road, and it is estimated that the cost will $1,200,000.00.
