The family flats have a large living room and dining room separated by a wide archway, and a magnificent covered verandah extending the whole width the living room to which it is connected by full length French windows. Through draught and ample lighting is provided for in these rooms by the dining room windows which open onto the inner court yard. The pantry off the dining room leads to the kitchen and utility room which extends into the centre con- necting link dividing the two main sections of the building. In this cen- tre section are also located three 11- beral size servants' rooms. the size and number of which being in itself an unusual feature, that does not seem to have been given sufficient consideration in the planning of modern apartment blocks.
Each of the apartments has three bedrooms, one with bathroom attach- ed, and two sharing a bathroom. The master bedroom has its own balcony. and all bedrooms have large built-in clothes closets. A large drying room off the inner hall connecting the various bedrooms and a guest lava- tory off the entrance hall, completes the amenities. There is a door from the pantry which opens directly on- to this entrance hall, which makes it unnecessary for the servants to go through any part of the apartment when answering the front door bell.
