Contracts awarded

Cover: One of the two modernistic spires that adorn the new St. Joseph's Church in Garden Road, Hong Kong. The fan-shaped church, with living quarters attached, is raised to first floor level above the noise and vibration of nearby traffic. Ground space is used for car parking. The exterior walls of the church are entirely clad in brilliant sky-blue and white mosaics. Plans were prepared by Ping K. Ng. The main contractor was On Lee & Co.
