JAW CRUSHER

Large volumes of rock can be handled by the compact model TL jaw crusher introduced by Allis-Chalmers, Milwaukee, Wis., USA.

Available in 24 x 36 and 30 x 42in. sizes, the machine has a rotation or reciprocating motion transmitted through spherical roller bearings to a swing jaw by an alloy steel eccentric shaft. The transmission produces maxi- mum movement at the jaw's top, where the largest feed pieces are crushed.

Downward elliptical jaw motion forces material through the crusher. The action of heat treated swing bars, in place of the customary toggle plate, ends and seats, eliminates any dead motion point and wearing parts.

A machined steel safety relief plate between the stationary jaw and the setting adjustment at the front of the crusher will buckle when uncrushable material passes through. This protec- tive device can be quickly replaced through the setting adjustment

opening.

The one-piece, reinforced welded structural steel frame has removable protective liners, while the cast Duron swing jaw is anchored to the side frame

through the forged alloy steel eccentric shaft for added frame rigidity. The centreline of the bearings and side frame coincide for even stress trans- mittal, and reduce any tendency to- ward shaft deflection.
