THE DUSIT THANI HOTEL AND SHOPPING CENTRE now under construction, will be Bangkok's newest, tallest complex, set in a 7%1⁄2 acre site opposite Lumpini Park on Rama IV Road.

OTIS is installing all of the elevators in the 22-storey hotel and the 12-storey office building.

The hotel will be served by four fast passenger lifts (500 Ft. Per Min; 2750 Lb. Capacity), three fast service lifts (500 Ft. Per Min; 2200 - 3000 Lb. Capacity) and three other slower lifts for goods in the hotel.

The Office Building will be equipped with three fast passenger lifts (500 Ft. Per Min; 3000 Lb. Capacity) and one service lift (100 Ft. Per Min; 1200 Lb. Capacity). OTIS' NEW "AUTOTRONIC UNLIMITED GROUP SUPERVISORY CONTROL", with ELECTRONIC TOUCH BUTTONS, will assure immediate response to every pattern and variation of traffic demand in the passenger lifts, which will also have "EXECUTONE" INTER-COMMUNICATION SYSTEM and "ELECTRONIC DETECTOR" DOOR SAFETY DEVICE.
