Further control is provided by the microphone which has a dictate listen switch, an on/off backspace switch. and two buttons to mark each piece of dictation on an index strip and to note corrections and additions on a separate column. Two small lights on each side of the front panel in- dicate when the dictation machine is free and when it is being used.
All dictation units connect with the secretarial unit by means of a multi- core cable and therefore do not re- quire a separate electrical supply. The secretarial unit resembles those used for dictation except that, having no microphone rest, it measures only 4% in. wide. Its four push buttons allow the secretary to disconnect the dicta- tion side of the machine, put it back into use, operate the intercom, and switch the call buzzer off when she is going to leave the machine unattend- ed for any length of time.

when it needs a fresh recording disc. In the latter case, the secretary has only to slip out the completed disc and replace it with another. If requir- ed, she can be provided with an ex- tra Agavox for transcribing purposes only, leaving the other free for dicta- tion at all times.

The gear has a cold-formed 16- gauge steel track with a V-tread, for smooth. accurate running, and protective hood for the hanger as- sembly, a one-piece drawn-steel hous- ing containing the bronze-axled nylon rollers. The hanger plates, fitted to the top of the door, are slotted for longitudinal adjustment, if required.

clear high-gloss top coat. The sur- face is not slippery when wet, resists acids and alkalis, and is waterproof.
Installing Poraflor is a three-step process. The coloured base coat liquid is poured on a prepared floor surface and spread evenly with a short nap roller applicator. (Denser liquid is used when the base coat is applied to coves, walls and stair risers.) Then. before the base coat is dry, a special machine is used to blow the prepared flake mix evenly on the floor.
After the flaked based coat has dried, the clear high-gloss top coats are applied with another short nap applicator. From two to five protec- tive top coats are used.

AN insulated flexible hose with a range of applications in buildings is being marketed under the trade name Flex-A-Duct.
Constructed from high-quality steel wire. hermetically sealed between layers of Neoprene-impregnated woven fabric. Flex-A-Duct is non-inflam- mable, chemical resistant and rot proof. It is quite suitable for high velocity air movement.
Ducting with an internal diameter of 3 in. to 26 in. is available, together with a fibreglass aerocor 1 in. thick insulation.
