CHARACTERISTICS

Tasteful, hand-made,

Made by flat baking with wood or charcoal.

Baked at high temperature (1,300°C)

in single kiln and climbing compound kilns.

Refined taste with natural change in colcur due to special baking process. Cold-proof, strong adhesion, colour fast.

Over 200,000 square feet of Daibutsu tiles were used in the Tokyo Olympic Stadium in 1964.

Well known all over Japan, and used by famous architects in the United States, Canada and Europe.
