AN UP TO DATE LIFT

WITHOUT THE

ELECTRONIC "SCHINDLER-DYNATRON" DRIVE

Schindler have designed a revolutionary A.C. drive system for travelling speeds up to 350 ft. per minute with electronically controlled, distance- dependent deceleration. The "SCHINDLER-DYNATRON" system incorporates the computerised "Direct Floor Approach" feature. The levelling-in period up to now necessary has become superfluous. On each trip precious seconds are saved, and the floor to floor time has been reduced to 41⁄2 seconds only. The time saved results in shorter round trip times and in an increased overall performance of the lift. In addition, the "SCHINDLER-DYNATRON" system does away with motor generators and exciters and, therefore, consumes at least 30% less electricity than comparable D.C. systems.

The performance of a "SCHINDLER-DYNATRON” lift is remarkably smooth. All speed changes are without jerks and acceleration and deceleration are so perfectly controlled that they do not cause any discomfort to the passengers. After all it is the passenger we all want to please.

Hundreds of DYNATRÓN lifts are operating most satisfactorily all over the world, including Hong Kong. Many more will soon be installed by The Jardine Engineering Corporation in prominent buildings, such as Queen Mary Hospital, Pipers Hill Government flats, China Light Head Office, Hong Kong Electric Head Office, Windsor House, Jardine House, Evergreen Villa.
