A NEW front end loader, the 980, has been announced by Caterpillar Overseas S.A., Case Postale 1211, Geneva 3, Switzerland. It is power ed by a 235 h.p. (flywheel) Cat. D336 diesel engine. A hydraulic governor and a hydraulically actuated variable timing device make the new engine extremely responsive and allow pre- cise operator control over engine speed.
