coloured in Glamorock finish or in cement paint in more accessible areas. Copings are of unpainted white ce- ment finish.

Beams inside are generally unpaint- ed and ceilings are whitewashed. Walls are plastered and painted, with dadoes of mosaic or glazed tiling for the special rooms and polyurethane paint in the general classrooms. Flooring is mosaic tiling for all rooms, and cement rendering for the balcony accesses and stairs.

To improve lighting and ventila- tion, all classrooms and special rooms, with the exception of the science la- boratories, have full windows on the balcony access side as well as on the extemal side. Louvres with semi-ob- scured glass give sufficient screening.
