One of the prime attractions of the foam sand- wich panel construction is said to be its self-insulat- ing qualities which provide a cooling element in the hottest climates and solid heat retaining comfort in low temperatures. The sandwich board has a den- sity range of 25 to 50 kilograms per cubic metre. Its facing consists of three elements, from the inside; asbestos cement, thickness from 4 mm; aluminium sheet metal 5005, thickness from 0.8 mm; and painted sheet steel, thickness from 0.5 mm.
