A SHOWER Mixer valve and a ther- mostatic mixer, called the Bestmix and 66-Combine respectively, have been added to the Meynell range of products. Both make use of a single control to turn on a fixed flow of water and then vary its temperature.
Available in three versions, for use with a shower fitting, basin mixer or shower handset, the Bestmix features a lever control and pointer which moves round a dial numbered from "off" through 1 to 6, to indicate tem- perature levels from cold to hot. Valor Launch a Dual Flushing Unit
A NEW device which the manufac- turers claim will save a quarter of the domestic water consumed in cis- tern flushing is announced by Valor Cisterns Ltd.. Ilkley, Yorkshire, U.K.
Using the device, a cistern will flush one or two gallons of water one gallon if the handle or chain is simply depressed or two gallons if it is held down for a few seconds.
The device is incorporated in the new all-plastics Valor Super Viking Dual-Flo cistern.
