Headworks will be located at Pelubang near Lengkuas, and Jeniang. The headworks at Pelubang will control the supply to the Northern Canal (max. discharge 2,730 cusecs. 23 miles long) and to the Central Canal (max. discharge 1,830 cusecs. 24 miles long). The headworks at Jeniang will control the supply to the Southern Canal (max. discharge 900 cusecs, 13 miles long).
