dispel myths that the emerging downtown Los Angeles high-rise profile will create a core of canyons.
Architects Albert C. Martin and Associates de- signed and engineered the office tower to sit at a 45-degree angle on a landscaped plaza. This stately tower will house on the concourse level a 1,000-seat cafeteria, 400-seat auditorium, res- taurant, coffee shop, full-service branch bank and specialty shops. Automotive traffic will interface with pedestrian overpasses and people-mover sys- tems linking the tower to Los Angeles' central city.
Consulting developers are Ketchum, Peck and Tooley with Stuart M. Ketchum as principal in charge of the project. Turner Construction Com- pany serves as general contractors.
