Dorman Long Wire ...for the world's most advanced suspension bridge
A recent contract completed by the Wire Mills of Dorman Long involved the manufacture of 4,200 tons of Bridge Wire for the main cables of the new Severn Bridge, which will form a major road link between Wales and England. This will be the second largest suspension bridge in Europe, built to the world's most advanced design.
