The total building costs (excluding furniture and professional fees) have been estimated at US$12.4 million; this figure has been based on prices current in Bangkok in mid-1968 and no attempt has been made to predict fluctuations which may occur between that date and 1978. With furniture, equipment and professional fees add- ed, the total cost may amount to near- ly US$21.3 million.

Consultants

Robert Matthew, Johnson-Marshall & Partners are acting as architects, planners, structural engineers and land- scape and industrial designers for the whole work, the partner in charge being Mr. Maurice Lee, FRIBA. A firm of Bangkok architects, Duang, Thavi- saldi Chaiya & Associates, are associat-

ed with the work.

The civil engineers are Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick & Partners, of London and Hong Kong, and the services engineers are J. Roger Preston & Partners, also of London and Hong Kong.
