Extractor Can Handle 4,500 cu. ft. per hour
A RECESSED wall-mounted extrac- tor fan, called the Perfectionaire, is capable of handling 4,500 cu. ft. per hour under free air conditions. Claim- ed to be unusually compact, it is de- signed to fit in 6 in. outer walls and is suitable for ventilating domestic lavatories, etc.
Identical aluminium louvres. form- ing 75% in. sq. inlet and outlet grilles are positioned on either side of the wall, while the shaded-pole motor driving a 4 in. diameter axial flow impeller with ten blades is housed be- tween them in a 51⁄2 in. by 5% in. sq. aluminium casing.
