The ZB75 can be fitted with either a 3 h.p. electric motor, a 51⁄2 h.p. petrol engine, or a 6 h.p. diesel, and is easily controlled by hand levers. The pan is at a height to allow a bar- row to be run underneath, and dis- charge is through a door in the floor of the pan, which meanwhile con. tinues to revolve, together with the mixing blades, to ensure rapid and complete emptying.

A lever lifts the mixing-blade as- sembly clear for cleaning. For trans- port, the mixer is fitted with either 14 in. dia. solid-tyred wheels, pneu- matic tyres and a solid axle for low- speed towing, or with a spring axle for high-speed road travel. Two fold- ing legs support the pan when work- ing.

Feed Truck Discharges Accurately into Mould

EQUIPPED with a 15 cu. ft. roll-over bucket. the Multibloc 1700 feed truck has been designed to collect con- crete aggregate from a hopper and dis- charge it into any size or type of con- crete mould. The bucket, set well forward of the machine, can be ac- curately controlled by the driver to deliver the exact amount of aggregate at the exact speed reuired,

Power for the 1700 is supplied by a Lister S..2 air-cooled diesel engine which develops 12 h.p. at 1,800 r.p.m. and drives the pump for the hydraulic system. This, in turn, controls the vertical motion of the heavy-steel- plate jib, together with the roll-over and pull-back action of the bucket, for maximum discharge height and reach of 4 ft. 512 in. and 3 ft. 10 in.

A large-capacity reservoir tank by the pump stores the hydraulic supply until it is drawn through the valve bank and distributed by two levers. positioned close to the driver's hand. One lever controls the lift ram; the other operates the bucket roll-over and pull-back action.

Housed in a chassis fabricated from heavy steel channels and plate, with integral beam-supporting brackets and

built-in counterweight, the 1700 measures 4 ft. wide by 11 ft. 3 in. long and travels on two 27:00-6 8-ply front driving wheels and two 18:00-7 rear steering wheels. With two speeds forward and one in reverse, it can reach a maximum speed of 11 m.p.h.
