According to the manufacturer's data the construction is rugged cast aluminum having 0.156 in. minimum wall thickness with satin or satin black finish, anodized for manence. Indirect (hidden source) units, prismatic refractor, white Car- rara diffuser and louvred units are available with heights up to 62 in.

Incandescent and mercury vapor units for either low level illumination of large circular areas or high level illumination of smaller circular areas are included in the range.

Units are furnished complete with straight or tapered pole and base and are fully equipped for installation in concrete foundations.

EPOXY SEALER

Adheres to Concrete and Other Surfaces

A THICK, semi-flexible epoxy which withstands water pressure of over 100 lb. per sq. in. has been developed by Devcon Corp. Danvers, Mass, USA.

Called Devcon epoxy sealer, the material adheres to concrete, metal. wood, ceramics, and other surfaces.

It is highly resistant to abrasion and wear and is said to be unaffected by water, oil, and most solvents and chemicals. A special wetting agent in the material increases penetration and adhesion to concrete.

Unlike conventional sealers ог paints which harden by air drying,

the sealer is a special two component epoxy which hardens by chemical action. Each unit consists of two equal parts of resin and hardener which are mixed together and ap- plied by brush, spray, or roller.

Since it has a very high solids con- tent, an extremely heavy coating can be applied at one time, even on a ver- tical surface. The sealer cures to a smooth, dense, ceramic-like finish which is easy to clean.

SWITCH FIXING GRID

Can be Fitted After Box is Installed

THE adjustable switch fixing grid is a new method of securing the switch or socket to the box. Designed by Ega Electric, Ltd., St. Asaph, Flints.. North Wales, the grid can be fixed after the box has been installed, by using two self-tapping screws, thus preventing thread damage from con- crete grout. The radial slots are at

2in. centres.
