Under Other Charges Annually Recurrent, a new item has been created for the contract cleansing of offices. Increases in provision generally result mainly from increased air traffic and the consequent increased demand for flight documents and services to meet international specifications.

A number of items under Special Expenditure contain revotes for equipment ordered but not delivered during the year, One new item is in respect of meteorological satellite receiving equipment.

Under Other Charges Annually Recurrent the net increase of $303,200 over the 1966-67 approved estimate is due in the main to increased provision for rent to cover the new Headquarters Office in International Building; expenditure occasioned by the "Action Committee against Narcotics" and an increase in the Local Public Works vote to meet outlays for schemes which form part of a five-year programme.
