Under Other Charges Annually Recurrent, the overall increase results from the general expan- sion of the Judiciary and is mainly attributable to the votes covering honoraria for temporary magistrates, legal aid for criminal cases in the Supreme Court, and the engagement of temporary watchmen.

Under Special Expenditure, $116,000 is for the expansion of the Supreme Court library, books and reports for new Courts and additions to Judges' libraries. $10,000 is provided for microfilming old news- papers which are of immense value to the Courts in the absence of official law reports.
