5 additional Assistant Training Officers are required to assist with training in widespread training areas and to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of such training.
One new post of Interpreter/Translator is necessary to deal with increasing demands for transla- tion of written training material.

16 of the additional posts of Clerical Assistant, which are offset by the reduction of 16 Clerks, were created during 1962-63 as a result of a re-organization of procedures which also made possible the re- duction of 3 posts of Typist. The 2 remaining additional posts of Clerical Assistant and the 2 posts of Messenger are required to cope with increasing work in the Branch Offices.
The new post of Assistant Photographer is offset by the reduction of 1 Clerical Assistant.
