Medical Headquarters

One post of Confidential Assistant has been provided to cope with the increasing confidential filing duties. The additional clerical and storekeeper posts are required to augment the present staff and improve efficiency.

Queen Mary Hospital

The additional Medical Technologist and Medical Laboratory Technicians Grade II are required to provide a 24-hour service at the Blood Bank. The other additional staff have been provided to enable the constantly increasing commitments of this hospital to be met.

Kowloon Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital

It is expected that the Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be completed about March, 1963, and opened about July, 1963. The additional staff provided for the Hospital will therefore be required at varying times during 1962-63 for training, supervision of the installation of equipment and other duties connected with the opening of the Hospital.
