A supernumerary post of Governor is provided for Sir Alexander Grantham, G.C.M.G., for the period of his pre-retirement leave.

One additional post of clerk and one additional post of messenger have been provided, and a new post of No. 2 Boy is offset by the reduction of one post of Houseboy. Overtime allowances are provided to cover payments to chauffeurs.

Under Other Charges Annually Recurrent, a new item is provided under subhead 2 to cover payment of Subsistence allowances to household staff when they are required to be on duty away from Government House.
