An extra clerk is required to deal with increased work in the headquarters office of the division; this post was approved during the year. An additional Overseer is needed to ensure adequate supervision of the former contract labourers now employed directly. A Museum Attendant, an Assistant Museum Attendant, and a Cleaner are needed for maintenance of the Li Cheng Uk Tomb and Garden. An additional Parkkeeper Class I is required for adequate supervision of the junior parkkeeping staff, and 7 Parkkeepers Class II and 5 Gardeners Class II are needed for new parks at Blake Gardens, Maple Street, and Sung Wong Toi Garden. The Tree Inspector, Assistant Tree Inspectors, Tree Trimmers Class I and II, and Street Tree Labourers are changes of title from Overseer, Forest Rangers, Forest Guards Class I and II, and Forest Labourers respectively. Of the 188 additional Garden Labourers (daily rated), 30 are former contract labourers.
