Circular Bo. 1.
The accompanying Schedule to the General Warrant for 1935
is circulated for information and guidance. The attention of all
officers is specially directed to the general Orders relating to
expenditure and in particular to General Orders Kos. 281-234, and
General Order Fo.376 on the subject of tenders.
Heads of Departments must clearly understand that the
expenditure of the year 1935 is definitely limited and arranged
by the Betinates of the year. To further disbursemente on accoun✨
of the service of 1936 which could have been foreseen or can be
postponed without detriment to the public service will be allowed.

No application for a supplementary vote on any sub-head of other

unless a corresponding saving (apart from exchange) can be shown
on some other sub-heads under Other Charges. Heads of Departmente
must watch expenditure under all sub-heade of Other Charges Cure-
fully so that in the event of unforeseen expenditure arising they
will be able to specify savings on another sub-head.
