Vernacular Master and Mistresses. To put them on an equality with the vernacular teachers in other schools, the salary of these teachers has been from $240-$420 to $300-$480, on the condition that they obtain the Third Certificate by July, 1916.

4 Overseers, 1st Class. One of these posts has been altered from second class because special qualifications in the matter of road construction and stone quart are required of the holder.

Overtime Allowance to 1st Grade Clerk.-This clerk has to remain in office office hours to pay wages to a large number of workmen who can only attend bean the hours of 5 and 7 p.m.

By a re-arrangement of duties a 3rd Grade officer has been transferred to the Radio-Telegraph Office, and a 5th Grade Clerk has taken his place; at a saving of $240 a year.

Postmen.-The staff of postmen has been re-organized as follows; at a saving $228 a year:
