During 1930, some progress was made with a scheme for the improvement of the Ihannel at Kunglingtan. A detailed survey of the rocks and surroundings was made and expert advice obtained from Messrs. Nobels, Ltd Work of lasting the Kunglingtan rocks was started in the autumn of 1931, but owing to an unusually high water level during the winter it was impossible to complete the clearance of the south- ern channel. It is hoped this will be accomplished next winter.
