There are 1,225 schools of different classes, in- cluding several universities, as distinct from the Imperial, or official. The best hotel for foreigners is the Imperial. Another new and well-equipped hotel, frequented principally by Japanese, is the Palace Hotel, also called the Tokyo Kaikan. also the Tokyo Station Hotel, Marunouchi Hotel and Seiyo-ken Hotel.
