The ordinary income (including a surplus of Tls. 402,067.64 brought forward from 1923) exceeded the ordinary expenditure by Tls. 467,567.05. The extraordinary income Tls. 400,200 six per cent. loan, 1923; Tls. 4,507,617.50 six per cent. Silver Loan 1924; Tls. 32,005.15 miscellaneous) amounted to Tls. 4,979,822.65, and extraordinary expen- ilditure (on buildings, roads, land, bridges, drainage, etc.) to Tls. 5,362,781.68, leaving a ldeticit of Tls. 382,959.03 to be carried forward to 1925.

The ordinary municipal revenue for 1925 was estimated at Tls. 9,404,370, including the nett surplus from 1924 of Tls. 467,567.05; and the ordinary expenditure at Tls. 9,181,170, leaving a surplus of Tls. 223,200 to be carried forward to 1926. The extraordinary revenue (made up of Miscellaneous income amounting to Tls. 10,000, together with Tls. 6,000,000 to be raised by Debentures and Tls. 318,630 realised by six 9 per cent. Loan, 1924, during the period of January 1st to February 5th, 1925) pro- vided an extraordinary income of Tls. 6,328,630; against an extraordinary expenditure of Tls. 6,333,620, which together with deficit of TIs. 382,960 brought forward from 1924, leaves a deficit of Tls. 4,990 to be carried forward to 1926.
