PORT OF CHINWANGTAO.
Chinwangtao is an ice-free port in the Gulf of Pechili, situated approximately Lat. 39° 55′ N., Long. 119° 38′ E. The Chinese Engineering and Mining Co., Ld., owns the land in the vicinity of the port and has constructed a break- water and pier for the accommodation of shipping. At present seven berths are available, the approximate depths of water being as follows:-
