152.-If any erasure or alteration be made, or if the Order is cut, defaced or mutilated, payment may be refused.

153.-Any officer in charge of a Post Office may delay or refuse the payment of a Postal Order, but he must at once report his reasons for so doing to the Postmaster-General.

154. After the expiration of six months from the last day of the month of issue a Postal Order will be payable only on payment of a commission equal to the amount of the original commision, but after twelve months it will become invalid and not payable. 155.-It shall be withinthe discretion of the Postmaster-General to suspend at any time the issue of Local Postal Orders.
