OFFICES.
1.-The Head Office for British Postal business in China is in the city of Victoria, Hongkong, with branch office at Kowloon. There is a Post Office also at Shanghai, and Agencies at the following places, viz :-
Canton. Hoihow, Swatow, Amoy, Foochow, Ningpo, Hankow, Liu Kung-tau and Chefoo.
BUSINESS HOURS.
2.-The General Post Office is open for the transaction of public business on week days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sundays and Helidays from 8 to 9 a.m. In the event of a contract mail arriving after the ordinary business hours, the office is opened for the delivery of correspondence as soon as possible after the mails have been laaded and sorted, and will be kept open for one hour thereafter.
3.-The Branch Office is open from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on ordinary days, and from 8 to 9 a.m. on Sundays and Holidays.
HOLIDAYS.
4.—Sundays and all Public and Government Holidays and observed as Post Office Holidays, except as notified in the foregoing paragraph, and except the departure of a contract mail happens to be fixed for a Public or Government Holiday, when the Office will be kept open for the pupose of despatch the mails.
DELIVERIES.
5.-In districts Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13 and 15 deliveries will be made at 8 p.m., 10 p.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. on ordinary days.
