This Magnificent Hotel is situated on the southern and western slopes of Mount Austin, close to Victoria Peak, only 15 minutes from Town by the Tramway.

The Aspect is Charming.

THE AIR DELIGHTFULLY COOL AND INVIGORATING.

A beautiful variety of scenery, green hills and valleys, gulleys and ravines in every direction. To the west "West Mount with the hog's back." To the south "Mount Kellet," with its pretty "Jung Frau" summit, studded here and there with handsome residences; at the bottom of the slope the artificial lake or reservoir of Pokfulam; the Model Dairy Farm, Douglas Castle and the old Monastery of the French Fathers. To the North the view comprises the whole of the Harbour of Hongkong, the Kowloon peninsula, and the grand range of lofty hills, forming an imposing coast line to the mainland of China with numerous islands to seaward.

The New Wing, comprising 20 Bed Rooms and 4 Sitting Rooms, which is in course of erection, will be completed and ready for the use of visitors on or about 1st May, 1897 A magnificent view of the Harbour and Public Gardens will be obtained from its spacious enclosed verandahs. Every room will have a separate bath room attached.

The New Ball Room, the largest in the Colony, will be opened on the early part of this year. The acoustic properties of the building, which have been made a special feature in its construction, render it eminently suitable for any kind of entertainment.

Lawn Tennis.-Turf courts in splendid condition are kept for the use of visitors.

The Cuisine is under the personal superintendence of an experienced European Steward.

Tramway Tickets are supplied to visitors staying at the IIotel at reduced rates.
