EXEMPTIONS.

Letter sent by Post, acknowledging the arrival of a Currency, or Promissory Note, Bill of Exchange, or any security for Money.

Receipt or Discharge written upon or contained in any Bill of Exchange, Promissory Note, Deed or other instru- ment charged with duty under this Schedule and duly Stampel, and Receipts for pay and allowances of persons in the

rvice of the government, whether Civil, Naval or Military.

12.-Probates and Letters of Administration with or without the Will annexed. (Administration Bonds exempt)

13. Conveyance, Assignment or instrument of any kind or description whatsoever not specially charged with duty un-ler this Schedule, excented for the transfer for valuable consideration of any property, moveable or immoveable, or of any right, title, claim, or interest in, to, or upon the same.............
