The catly mentioned in this Tariff is equal to one pound and a third, English avoir- dupois weight. The yard is the English measure of three feet,-the English foot being one eight of an inch larger than the Japanese Kaneshaku. The Boo is a Silver coin weighing not less than 134 grains Troy weight and con- taining not less than nine parts of pure Silver, and not more than one part of alloy. The cent is the one hundredth part of the Boo.
