In taking Postage upon Letters addressed to the Canary Islands, a rate of Elevenpence per half- ounce Letter, increasing according to the British scale of weight, must be added to the sum of Sixpence for each quarter of an ounce that the Letter may weigh; so that the charge on a letter above a quarter of an ounce and not exceeding half-an-ounce will be one Shilling and Eleven Peuce.
