The weather in the month of March is also damp and foggy, but the tem- perature of the atmosphere becomes considerably warmer; to preserve things from damp, it is requisite to continue the use of fires and closed doors, which the heat of the atmosphere renders very unpleasant. From March till July and August, the thermometer steadily in creases inheight, until the heat reaches its maximum degree.
