The following SCALE OF LINGUISTS' FEES, adopted at a GENERAL MEETING of the Cantón BritisH CHAMBER of COMMERCE, held on the 16th September, 1847, and agreed to by the Linguists' Establishments, CHING-HO, KWAN-HO, TAE-HQ, Ho-sang, and SHUN-wo, came into operation at Canton on 17th September, 1847.

The FEES ON IMPORTS to be paid by CONSIGNEES; on EXPORTS, by the Actual Shippers, whether Foreigners or Chinese, and on SHIPS by the AGENT for the VESSEL.
