SPECIAL TO THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS WHEN ONE IS DEPRESSED BY THE THOUGHT THAT THE DIS- COVERIES OF SCIENCE HAVE ADDED NEW TERRORS TO MO- DERN WARFARE, FF IS CONSOLING TO REMEMBER THAT THEY ARE ALSO BEING USED TO MITIGATE SOME OF ITS PERSONAL MISERIES. The

response was so enormous that it was obvj- ous that not merely one but several programmes A week must be organised to deal with messages, each one designed for a specifte area.

TYPES OF PROGRAMMES These programmes range from a very simple and intimate affair. consleting almost entirely of mea sages such as the oue JOAN OIL BERI commeres for the troops in Gibraltar, to elaborate half-hour
