Szechwan Grain Purchases: New Regulations Issued

Sept. 5 (Central)-Szechwan's landlords will receive from the Government 70 per cent of the sales value of grains in Food Treasury Notes and 30 per cent. in cash, according to new regulations of the province for 1941. According to these regulations, for every pient (110 lbs of grains purchased by the Government, the seller gets $30 in legal tender and 7 10 picals worth of Food Treasury Notes issued Jointly by the Ministries of Food and Finance.
