Receive Chinese From Indo-China

Five districts in southern Yunnan have been designated by the Chinese Government to receive overseas Chinese who should choose to return to China from Indo-China or Thailand in view of the tense situation now prevailing there.

The counties are Pinplen, Kiangcheng and. Chengyueh close to the Indo-China border, Fohai near the Burma border and of the measures Langling on the Burma Road. This is one which the authorities have taken for the welfare of the return- ing overseas Chinese. The magistrates
