YAUMATI FERRY COMPANY IS SUED BY FORMER EMPLOYEE

Interesting Revelation During Evidence

That the practice of giving short change to passengers in the third class on the Yaumati ferry had been going on for a long time was revealed during evidence in an action brought in the Summary Court yesterday in which a former employee of the HONGKONG AND YAUMATI FERRY COMPANY sued his emplyers for $334.50 for the return of a deposit and one-and-a-half months' wages due,

The plaintiff was LI LEUNG, of No. 604 Reclamation Street, frst floor, who was represented by Mr. H. A. de Barros Botelho. Mr. F. II. Loseby was for the dofence.
