KOWLOON DOCKS BRING OFF UPSET OF WEEK BY DECISIVE WIN OVER K.B.G.C. "B" Craigengower Well Placed For Senior Championship

The unexpected defeat of the Champlons, RECREIO "A", last Saturday at the hand of the Police has placed CRAIGENGOWER in a very favourable position for the title. Craigengewer brought off their eighth consecutive win in nine matches when they defeated Kowloon C in an away match. Another upset wrs recorded in last week's bowls programme. Kowloon Docks decisively beating How- Joon Bowling Green "B" at Austin Road,

Recreto "A" came a cropper at Happy Valley where their very much depleted rinks (a handful of their regulars not being able to turn out for them, presumably on account of Volunteer duties) lost to the Police by 18 slots. The fact that Kowloon Docka not only won but won decisively on al rinks came as a great sur- prise to all bowls followers. The first results of the Summer Postal League have produced some excellent individual scores although several teams lost their matches by not having a fourth marksman up to the shooting stand- ard of his fellow team members.

The Hongkong Police "A" team produced the highest scores of the period on their 20 yards range with a 362 against the ILA.F.
