IN SPITE OF THE HEAVY DOWNPOUR IN THE MORNING THERE WAS A FULL PROGRAMME OF BOWLS MATCHES ON SATURDAY. In the First Division, Craigengower, by virtue of their clean sweep win over Recreio "A". the champious, are now at the tead of the League Table.

However, their second team suffered a serious setback in their championship aspirations, losing on all rinks to the Prison Officers at Stanley. As the result of this, Kowloon Tong, who again won on race for the Saturday, are now up against less competition in the Second Division title.
