Bowls League Again Upset By Rain: Second Div. Match Schedule Tit-Bit Of Week's Schedule

Rain, which a fortnight ago caused many matches to be past- poned, has further retarded the progress of the Lawn Bowls League. Last Saturday only one League match was played: the rest were called off as most of the greens in the Colony were sodden on aeront of the unusually heavy rains during the week.

Kowloon Residents' Union are the present holders of the Kim roller Shing Cup basketball on skates competition as a result of their win by 35 points to 23 over the Kowinon Skating Rink.

The match which was played at the Kowloon Skating Rink, Mong- kek, drew a large crowd, who wit- nessed one of the best matches to date.

E. B. Nanak. one of the Rink's stars, was unfortunately injured during the first few minutes and could not take part for the rest of the game.
