STAMP COLLECTING A GOOD INVESTMENT Rotarian Ohl's Interesting Address At Rotary Meeting

In these days of uncertainty regarding a good investment, there thai of collecting hardly 25 investment better than stampe table to prove a profitable asset, stated Rotarian R. Ohl when he addressed the flangkong Botary Club yesterday on the subject "Some Sidelights on the Hobby of Stamp-Collecting.”

There was hardly a share on the world market, Rotarian Ohi said, that has improved as consistently over the years in saide as have stamps. From comparisons maile between the quotations of catalogues issued 25 years ago and those of the latest catalogues, it could be learned that the average value of stamps has increased in the proportion of 50 times over the 1916 value for raflties, of 20 to 30 times the value quoted in that year for semi-rarities, and from 10 to 30 times for the more common varletjes.
