The above comment was made by Mr. Winston Churchill, Prime Minister, in the course of a statement in the House of Commons yesterday on the Battle of Crete, says Reuter.
The Prime Minister said that attempts by the enemy to carry out an invasion of the island by sea were, he believed, resisted by British naval forces with success.
