WHAT IS THE WAR IMPORTANCE OF SILK STOCKINGS?
What is the war importance of silk stocklings? This question was answered, by Major Douglas Hallam, Secretary of The Suk Association of Canada, in an interesting talk over the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation network last month. Importation of raw silk is under control and its use restricted as a war measure As rapidly as substitutes can be obtained the quantity of silk used is being reduced.
