LONDON, Apr. 27 (Reuter)—THE GERMAN HIGH COMMAND, IN A SPECIAL COMMUNIQUE TODAY, CLAIMS THAT UNITS OF THE GERMAN ARMY ENTERED ATHENS. THE ADVANCE GUARDS WERE FOLLOWED LATER BY ́ MECHANISED

Last night, the Athens Radio announced that a delaying action by the British forces in Greece was being successfully carried out but, as its aims were merely at gain ing time while the main forces were disengaging themselves, it could only be of a limited duration.
